LINEEYE Co., Ltd. released a new firmware (V1.16) for the line monitors LE-8500X/LE-8600X series. If you have been using the ex-version, please update it to the latest version.

1. Enhanced Trigger Function for LAN Communication Analyzer Measurement Boards
   The trigger function for models and measurement sub-boards that perform LAN communication measurements has been enhanced.
   This will be even more useful for capturing and analyzing communication troubles that rarely occur.

1-1. Added FCS Error Trigger to Trigger Function (Applicable Models: LE-8500X/LE-8500XR/SB-GE2/SB-FE2)
The trigger function, which can perform actions such as automatically stopping the monitor when a specific frame matching specified conditions such as IP address or port number is received, or when a change in the external TTL signal occurs, now allows you to specify the reception of an FCS error frame as a condition.


1-2. Added/Expanded Trigger Save Function (Applicable Models: LE-8500X/LE-8500XR/SB-GE2/SB-FE2)
The trigger save function, which saves data before and after an external trigger occurs to a file, is now available not only when using the measurement sub-board SB-FE2, but also on the LE-8500X/LE-8500XR (SB-GE2).
Furthermore, the trigger save function can now be used conditionally upon receiving an FCS error frame.

1-3. Added a function to sound a buzzer when the system automatically stops due to a trigger
(Applicable models: LE-8500X/LE-8500XR/LE-8600X/LE-8600X/LE-8500X-SE/LE-8500XR-SE/SB-GE2/SB-FE2/SB-T1E)
When a trigger occurs, the monitor will automatically stop and a buzzer will sound.

2. Addition of FCS error generation function (LE-8500X/LE-8500XR/SB-GE2)
   

   When generating packets with the PG function, now you can send FCS error packets at a specified rate (0.00001% to 100%).

3. Added function to convert CAN measurement data to pcap (SB-C2AN)
   

   CAN / CAN FD measurement data saved with SB-C2AN can now be converted to pcap format, usable with free software such as Wireshark, and output as a file.

   ※ This simulates conversion to the SocketCAN format that can be analyzed by Wireshark. Additional information such as channel information, CRC, analog values, and GPS information will be lost.
   
   
4. Buzzer volume change function
   

   The volume of the buzzer that can be sounded by the trigger function can now be increased. By setting the buzzer volume to "High" in the system settings, it becomes easier to notice even when you are a little further away from the analyzer.

5. Other Updates
