Thank you for using LINEEYE products. LINEEYE has released the latest version of the software (ver1.03) for LE-270GR/LE-270AR.

  1. OBD2 translation function is added to the text conversion
    In the new version the OBD2 translation function is added to the text conversion function. You can translate and output the information of self-analysis funtion of cars from the captured CAN communication data.

    [ Detail of the translation function ]

    • It translates and outputs the frames with CAN IDs which corresponds with legislated-OBD prescribed in ISO 15765-4 from the CAN communication data of specified file and specified channel.
    • When a message uses multiple frames of CAN communication, all the frames needs to be included in the same file without any loss for the correct translation.
    • Normal addressing format (11bit ID) and normal fixed addressing format (29bit ID) are supported.
    • When using the OBD option, all the frames with the IDs which do not correspond with legislated-OBD are ignored.
    • It does not display Flow Control Frame of ISO-TP(ISO 15765-2).
    • The translation targets and contents conform to SAE J1979 / J1979DA (2017)

    [ How to update the latest firmware ]

    The firmware of LE-270GR/AR needs to be V1.02 or later and the LE-LINK27R needs to be updated to V1.03.

    Please download the latest firmware from our Website.

    LE8FIRM (a software to transfer firmware) is also available from our Website.

    Refer to "LE8FIRM.TXT" in the download folder for the detail.
