RS-232C/422/485 and TTL Protocol Analyzer “LE-1500R”

LINEEYE Co., Ltd released the new protocol analyzer "LE-1500R", a low-cost analyzer for asynchronous communication of RS-232C/RS-422/RS-485 and TTL (1.8V-5V signal level).

[ Background and Outline ]

Asynchronous communication of RS-232C or RS-485 is still used extensively for the field of control devices or measurement instruments, and a low-cost communication analyzer to analyze problems of those fields has been needed.

The previous model "LE-1500" has RS-232C port and RS-422/485 port but this time LINEEYE Co., Ltd released "LE-1500R" which has TTL measurement port besides those port. With the standard TTL(1.8V-5V signal level) measurement port you can monitor TTL communication without using TTL expansion kit which is needed for TTL monitoring by the previous model LE-1500. While it succeeds the proven online monitor function, simulation function, and BERT (bit error rate test) function, we added more internal buffer memory and SD card/USB flash interface for its storage media. Also we added Wi-Fi function and you can remotely monitor the line from your PC by using Wi-Fi (note: Wi-Fi function is valid only in Japan, USA, and Canada). Besides that, we added a light edition of the optional PC link software (with a little bit limitaion) as a standard accessory. The PC link software offers continuous recording to a PC and conversion from .dt file to .text/.csx file format.

  1. Measure up to 500Kbps. Speed is freely set to 4 effective digits.
  2. Supports RS-232C/422/485 and TTL(1.8V - 5V) monitoring as its standard function.
  3. Auto Save function saves measured data into a SD card or USB flash for long hours.
  4. Supports logic analyzer function and voltage measurement of RS-232C/TTL.
  5. Remote connection from PC via Wi-Fi (Note: this function is valid only in Japan, USA, and Canada.)
  6. The light version of software "LE-PC300R" which supports continuous recoding of the measured log and conversion of logged file into text/CSV format is attached.
  7. Easy to take with the carrying bag and you can do measurement testing without PC.
