LINEEYE Co., Ltd. released a new firmware (V1.15) for the line monitors LE-8500X/LE-8600X series. If you have been using the ex-version, please update it to the latest version.

1. Added I3C Monitor Function (LE-8500X-RT/LE-8500XR-RT/SB-R2TS1)
   

   It is now possible to monitor I3C communication, which is expected to become a next generation standard for inter-chip communication. I3C is a communications standard that extends I2C, and is capable of high-speed communication at clock speeds of up to 12.5MHz using a two-wire system while maintaining backward compatibility with I2C. As with I2C measurements, monitoring is performed by connecting to the LE-8500X(R)-RT's TTL (1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V level) measurement port.

   SDR communication monitoring and target reset, HDR exit, and HDR restart pattern detection are possible.

   ※ Simulation data transmission and HDR communication monitoring are not supported.
2. Added J1939 translation function (SB-C2AN)
   

   J1939 support has been added to the SB-C2AN's CAN/CAN FD translation function. Unlike the DBC translation function, there is no need to prepare a translation definition file. Approximately 4,000 types of SPNs can be translated and displayed.

   It also supports translation display of TP (Transport Protocol), which transmits more than 9 bytes of data using multiple CAN frames, and J1939-22, an extension of CAN FD.

Similar to the DBC translation function, you can display up to eight selected translation results in real time graphs along with analog measurement values.

* Variable-length data, multi-frame data, and string data are not supported for graph display (only detailed translation display is supported).
